We make change by supporting change makers.

Communities know what they need and have ideas of how to build power, strength, and well-being. HealthSpark Foundation is here to fuel a movement where communities have agency and the resources to lead—their way.

Who We Are

Our Grantmaking Journey

We work to sustain, grow, and amplify what’s already happening in Montgomery County’s safety net system.

Driven by racial and social justice, we envision a system that’s accessible and equitable for all residents. Learn more about what we’re doing to drive forward progress.

Grantmaking

We offer multi-year, programmatic or operational funding for local organizations, networks, and coalitions focused on building just and healthier communities.

Advocacy

We participate in several local and state groups to advocate for a better-resourced safety net system. We also fund advocacy efforts and grassroots movements.

Leadership Development

We fund leadership development opportunities, including supporting the development of the Racial Equity Learning Community.

Community Building

We organize Communities of Practice events, host convenings, provide meeting space, amplify the work happening in our communities, and more.

Research

We engage external researchers, topic experts, and local practitioners and persons with lived expertise to dig deep into policy issues.

Building Community Power

We're excited to announce our upcoming Community of Practice event, "Building Community Power," happening on Friday, September 20th, from 8 am to 1 pm at Normandy Farms in Blue Bell. Join us for a day devoted to strengthening community ties and empowerment, with a focus on themes that enhance opportunities throughout Montgomery County.
