Announcing Another Award from the Rapid Response Fund for Community Power

We are excited to announce another award from our Rapid Response Fund for Community Power:
The Center for Positive Aging in Lower Merion (PALM) for their “Health Advisory Action Committee”
PALM’s Senior Health Advisory Action Committee is taking urgent action to fight the spread of health disinformation, which puts seniors at risk. This project will deliver clear, accurate information, host educational sessions, and give seniors the tools to spot and avoid false claims. In addition, the committee will quickly fact-check misinformation, expand outreach through social media, and boost seniors' health literacy. This project will help keep seniors informed, safe, and empowered to make smart health choices.
We deeply appreciate PALM for their vital work in keeping seniors informed and taking meaningful action to protect their health.
Previously, we have awarded grants to ACLAMO, BeReZilient, CCATE and Immigrant Rights Action from the Rapid Response Fund for Community Power. This fund supports responding to critical and unexpected, urgent events or external challenges, while strengthening the voice and power of community members and is currently accepting applications on a rolling basis until June 30.
