What does power mean to you?

"Access! And the ability to fully participate in decision making to develop and enhance self and community as you define it."

What excites you about the Dr. Frank E. Boston Black Justice Fund?

"It's exciting to me that more people will learn of Dr. Boston- his life, and outstanding accomplishments and contributions to society, despite overwhelming racial disparities and discrimination. Using his legacy as our framework, the CAT envisioned this fund with a goal to advance the economic, political and social power of black people as Dr. Boston modeled for us. I'm very optimistic of the impact the fund will have and I look forward to supporting the organizations selected as grant recipients."
