Scout's garden joins Cultivating Communities

Even though Kevin Hanlon received his Eagle Scout award April 3, his work in many ways is just beginning. In fact, the community garden he helped establish last year at Encore Experiences at Harleysville could keep him busy all this summer.

The North Penn Community Health Foundation recently identified Encore Experiences as a 2011 partner in its Cultivating Communities Campaign, a three-year project geared toward increasing access to fresh produce for low-income families in the North Penn region and surrounding areas.
