HealthSpark Foundation Elects New Board Officers and Members

Colmar, PA – The HealthSpark Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce the election of the following officers and new members:

George Marks, Chair
Chinwe Onyekere, Vice Chair
Warren Hilton, Secretary
Lisa Dickson, Treasurer
Joel Johnson, New Board Member
Courtney McCormick, New Board Member

George E. Marks, AIA is a Managing Partner at Kramer + Marks Architects in Ambler, PA. He is a Co-Founder of Robin Hood Ventures, a group of angel investors focused on early-stage, high-growth companies in the Greater Philadelphia region. In addition to the foundation, he is a Board Member of Loan Logics, a SAS based automated mortgage quality analytics company in Trevose, PA. Mr. Marks is also a member of the American Institute of Architects and a Managing Member for Skrolling Stone Investments. Mr. Marks resides in Worcester, PA.

Chinwe Onyekere, MPH is an Associate Administrator with Lankenau Medical Center and System Administrator for Graduate Medical Educator for Main Line Health in Wynnewood, PA. Previously, Ms. Onyekere served as the Executive Director for Health Leads in New York City. Ms. Onyekere received a Master of Public Health degree from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Maternity Care Coalition. Ms. Onyekere resides in Philadelphia.

Warren Hilton, Ed.D. is the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs at Kutztown University. Previously, Dr. Hilton served as Dean of Enrollment Management for Community College of Philadelphia (CCP). Prior to CCP, Dr. Hilton was the Associate Dean for Student and External Affairs, Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Health Management and Policy Department, and Co-Director for the Opening Doors Health Disparities Research Training Program at Drexel University’s School of Public Health. Dr. Hilton received his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Management from Drexel University, as well as his bachelor's and master's degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Hilton lives in Lansdale, PA.

Lisa Dickson, CPA was recently the Senior Vice President for Financial and Strategic Planning at Radian Guaranty, Inc. and has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University. Ms. Dickson is a graduate of the 2009 class of Leadership Philadelphia and previously served on their Board of Directors as Treasurer. She is also a former Board Chair and Treasurer for EducationWorks, and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia. Additionally, Ms. Dickson has participated in Leadership Exchanges with the Economy League from 2011 through 2015. Ms. Dickson resides in North Wales, PA.

Joel Johnson, AICP, P.H.M. is the Executive Director for the Montgomery County Housing Authority. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and is a certified Public Housing Manager. Mr. Johnson serves as the Chair for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council, and he is a member of the boards of directors for the Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania, Regional Housing Legal Services and the Housing Equality Center of Pennsylvania. He received a Masters of Arts in Urban Planning from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Delaware. Mr. Johnson is a resident of Ardmore, PA.

Courtney McCormick, MPH, RDN, LDN is a Corporate Dietician with Nutrisystem, Inc. She is a member of both the national Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and its Pennsylvania chapter. Ms. McCormick is a Licensed Registered Dietician Nutritionist in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She received a Masters of Public Health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Penn State University. Ms. McCormick resides in Ambler, PA.

Through grantmaking and related philanthropic activities, HealthSpark Foundation works to improve the health and well-being of the community by anticipating tomorrow's challenges and offering support to plan and deliver cost-effective, outcomes-oriented programs and services that vulnerable populations in Montgomery County require to lead healthy, successful and meaningful lives. Since the foundation’s inception in 2002, more than $12.6 million has been distributed to 178 nonprofit organizations.
