Grants Awarded

Since our founding in 2002, we have awarded 1,005 grants totaling $17.7 million to 214 organizations working in Montgomery County, as of April 2023. You can view our grants since 2017 below.

Manna on Main Street received a grant to develop a short film that spotlights economic and food insecurity in Montgomery County through individual stories. The film will used to support related policy and advocacy strategies and deepen the conversation about necessary changes.

Norristown Hospitality Center received a grant in support of renovations including upgrading its kitchen equipment and installing new flooring to create a more dignified and efficient experience for its soup kitchen clients.

Patrician Society received a grant to support the installation of new flooring in the pantry to provide a more durable surface and more dignified experience for pantry clients.

Pennypack Farm received a grant in support of strategic planning.

Philanthropy Network received a grant in support of a search for the organization's next Executive Director.

PCRC received a grant to build staff and organizational capacity to use data to strengthen evaluation, learning and innovation.

PCRC received a grant to increase the shelf life of fresh produce and improve the efficiency of produce storage and distribution adding glass access doors on the pantry's walk-in refrigeration system.

Regional Housing Legal Services received a general operating grant to support for their work in affordable housing and community and economic development in Montgomery County.

MontCo SAAC received a grant to purchase tablet computers and software to support staff in assessing the nutrition risk of community members. Once identified, the organization can address those needs via its existing food pantry and Meals on Wheels programs.

SHARE received a grant to create a capital equipment fund for Montgomery County food pantries to purchase much needed items such as freezers, refrigerators and shelving.
