Community Impact Report for Your Way Home Montgomery County (2014)
Your Way Home Montgomery County is a transformational partnership between government, philanthropy, nonprofits and community partners to solve – finally – the problem of homelessness in our community.
Last year, 1,172 people in Montgomery County experienced homelessness. The bold goal of Your Way Home is to reduce homelessness in the county by over 50% in the next five years while exiting people from homelessness to permanent housing more rapidly.
Since January 17, 2014, Your Way Home has helped 274 people move from shelters or the streets to their own apartment (through May 2014). This slideshow expands on the impact of Your Way Home and charts a future for this transformative effort.
