Bethlehem Baptist Church

The Youth University will equip young people with hard and soft skills to more confidently navigate academic, professional, and social environments they enter. The new program is being initiated to build leadership capacity and empower youth to articulate their aspirations. We believe that leadership development is most powerful when rooted in community voice, cultural pride, and shared responsibility, which is why our program is designed to amplify these values.

The Youth University’s mission is to cultivate confidence, teach self-advocacy, career skills, and support goal setting. The mission will directly combat the decreased opportunities for social interaction and improve life skills, amidst career and employment challenges.

Bethlehem Baptist Church was provided a stipend for their participation in the Build Back Better Design Team.
