Stories give shape, color, and nuance to our lives. They have the capacity to expand our understanding of one another and the world around us, to broaden our lenses, build empathy and compassion, and deepen our shared humanity. But they also have the capacity to perpetuate harm, injustice, and an illusion of separation.
