Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County

MontCo SAAC received a stipend to support their participation in our Safety Net Resiliency Initiative.

MontCo SAAC received a grant to purchase tablet computers and software to support staff in assessing the nutrition risk of community members. Once identified, the organization can address those needs via its existing food pantry and Meals on Wheels programs.

This organization was provided a stipend for their participation in the Build Back Better Design Team.

“Connecting Seniors to the Safety Net”:

This project will serve as a pilot program to explore how to  better serve vulnerable seniors in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania by finding out their current technology needs and abilities and then develop a plan for training them and/or providing hardware and internet access so that they can stay connected to the safety net. 

Funding in support of learning about the unmet need of older LGBTQ+ adults, the scale of that need, and programs/services this community seeks to support successful aging in place.
