Philabundance received an Innovation Lab grant to partner with Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties and the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities to pilot a collaborative program that seeks to answer if food security can be achieved when combined with other safety net supports such as financial literacy education. The project will assist 12 families with children who are food insecure. Each partner agency will provide supports based on their core services. Families will receive supplemental food, case management, financial literacy education and ongoing support to improve their food, housing, and financial security.
