Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania's mission is to provide quality legal representation to low-income and vulnerable people in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties, to empower them to solve problems without legal representation through legal education and increased access to the courts, and to change community practices and systems that cause or aggravate poverty.

Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania received a grant through the Innovation Lab for their project "Community Veterans Partnership Project". Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania (LASP) seeks to improve access to veteran's services in Montgomery County through the establishment of an accessible, veteran-focused legal practice to provide no cost, assistance to low-income veterans. In addition to the introduction of this critical service, LASP will partner with the Veterans Multi-Service Center (VMC) to integrate the new legal services with the social services currently provided by the VMC to veterans in Montgomery County.

“Connecting with the Latino Community: A new approach to services”:

The project is a joint effort by Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) and Accion Comunal Latinoamericana de Montgomery County (ACLAMO) to develop a comprehensive and replicable plan for building a more inclusive model to serve the Latino* and non-English speaking communities in Montgomery County. The partners will develop a model for service delivery, convene focus groups to determine services needed, and provide training to staff in both organizations.
