HealthSpark Foundation is accepting applications to the Innovation Lab Grant Program now through November 1, 2021. The Innovation Lab provides up to $30,000 in grant funding for projects that will improve how the safety net system functions, such as by:

  • reimagining how programs and services can achieve impact;

  • realigning relationships and resources and power structures between funders, service providers, the community, and system users;

  • redeveloping rules and regulations, especially those that embed racial and other disparities;

  • adjust policies and practices to create greater equity or improve service delivery; or

  • addressing problematic cultural norms and incentives in order to achieve greater wellbeing and impact for all people.

In order to support a partnership-driven approach to improving the safety net, all Innovation Lab projects must include a lead agency and at least one partner organization. We also strongly encourage that all applicants consider how to engage the intended beneficiaries of their services into the project design and implementation in meaningful ways, with appropriate compensation.

To learn more, visit our Innovation Lab page or download the RFP below. We encourage all potential applicants to attend our information session on 9/28- register here.
