HealthSpark Foundation Elects Board Members

Colmar, PA – The HealthSpark Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce the election of the following board new and reelected members:

 

HealthSpark Foundation invests in systems change opportunities in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania to promote consumer access to safety net services and leverage public and private resources promoting quality outcomes. “Our board is comprised of committed individuals who have significant ties to Montgomery County,” noted Russell Johnson, President and CEO of HealthSpark Foundation. “I look forward to partnering with our board as we work to improve the resiliency of the county’s safety net system.”

 

Amy Gianficaro is the Director of Marketing for National Philanthropic Trust in Jenkintown, PA. She is also a volunteer with several organizations including serving on the Marketing Committee for the North Penn YMCA in Lansdale, PA; the Growth and Solutions Committee for the Bucks County Opportunity Council and the Towamencin Youth Association. She is a former newspaper editor and Community Affairs Director and has a degree in journalism from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Gianficaro resides in Lansdale, PA.

 

Joel Johnson, AICP, P.H.M. is the Executive Director for the Montgomery County Housing Authority. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and is a certified Public Housing Manager. Mr. Johnson previously served as the Chair for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council, currently serves as the Chair of Your Way Home Montgomery County’s Advisory Council and he is a member of the boards of directors for the Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania, Regional Housing Legal Services and the Housing Equality Center of Pennsylvania. He received a Master of Arts degree in Urban Planning from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Delaware. Mr. Johnson lives with his wife and two sons in Ardmore, PA.

Courtney McCormick, MPH, RDN, LDN is a Manager of Clinical Research and Nutrition at Tivity Health, Inc. She is a member of both the national Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and its Pennsylvania chapter. Ms. McCormick is a Licensed Registered Dietician Nutritionist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She received a Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Penn State University. Ms. McCormick resides in Ambler, PA.

 

Joseph C. O’Neill, Jr. is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Huntingdon Valley Bank. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Managers Society of Philadelphia. Mr. O’Neill holds his undergraduate degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from LaSalle University. Mr. O’Neill resides with his wife MaryBeth in Hatboro, PA.

 

Natasha Patterson is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ. She is also a professional practice faculty member at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA. She is a member of the American Public Health Association. Ms. Patterson serves as the President for the National Association of University Women in the Suburban Philadelphia Branch and is a Co-Chair for the Nominating Committee for the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Pennsylvania Chapter. Ms. Patterson is a Board Member with the Temple University Black Alumni Alliance. She has a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, both from Temple University. Ms. Patterson resides in Abington, PA.
