HealthSpark bids farewell to Senior Program Officer Tamela Luce

Tamela Luce, HealthSpark's first program officer, recently announced her departure in order to pursue a new professional opportunity as President and CEO of the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation. During her tenure, Tamela directed The Academy, developed an extensive network among Montgomery County's food pantries, collaborated with numerous regional and statewide philanthropic groups, led the Greater Philadelphia Food Funders group and contributed to Setting the Table:  A Blueprint for a Hunger-Free PA.

She contributed her numerous communications talents leading to a new name and logo for the foundation, relaunched an updated and robust website to support the Resiliency Initiative and nurtured many relationships with our grantees, thought partners and community leaders.

Tamela approached her job with creativity and enthusiasm and her many talents will be missed. I thank her for her numerous contributions to HealthSpark and to Montgomery County. Tamela has helped enormously to advance our capacity building work that has become the focus of our work at HealthSpark. Kudos to Tamela. We wish her the best in her new endeavors and know she will foster many more contributions to the field of philanthropy both in her new Phoenixville home base and beyond!
