Rev. Charles Quann

The Reverend Charles W. Quann has served as the Pastor of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Spring House, PA. since April 1986. Since his calling to The Bethlehem Baptist Church, a Christ –Centered, Multi-Cultural Church, Pastor Quann has directed the development of numerous ministries

Reverend Quann was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Pastor Quann received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern University, with additional studies at Eastern (Palmer) Theological Seminary in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

Reverend Quann accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church in Philadelphia. In December of 1974, he was licensed to preach the Gospel and was ordained in October of 1977 by Reverend Dr. Albert F. Campbell, his mentor & Pastor Emeritus of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Philadelphia.  Pastor Quann served as an Associate Minister at Mt. Carmel until he was called to pastor the Gibson Temple Baptist Church in Philadelphia in 1980.

Pastor Quann was appointed to the Montgomery County Advisory Council to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission January, 2012 and in 2014 elected as Chairperson of the Council; elected to the Board of Trustees of Abington Memorial Hospital in 2010;  elected as Treasurer of the Executive Committee of Abington Memorial Hospital in 2017; member of the Foreign Mission Board of the National Baptist Convention, USA;  Board member of the Wissahickon Faith Community; Past President of the American Red Cross, Penn Jersey Region and current board member; Vice President, Board of the Montgomery County Housing Authority; Vice President and Board Member of  the Inter-Faith Housing Alliance; Member of the Blue Bell Rotary; Board of Directors of the YMCA of Ambler;  Board member Inter-Faith Center of Greater Philadelphia; Board Member of the E. Washington Rhoads Board of the Philadelphia Tribune. Chairman of ChildPromise, Inc. and Board Member of ChildFirst Services; former Board member and Moderator of the Philadelphia Baptist Association; Pearl Buck Foundation. And Tabor Children Services

Reverend Quann is the recipient of numerous honors and awards including, The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Award, the American Cancer Society, the United Way, YMCA, and the Wissahickon Faith Community Association.

In addition to his religious and community service, Pastor Quann’s “Visions of Victory” preaching is broadcast  has extended the gospel outside of the church walls and can be seen every Wednesday at 9:00am on WMCN TV and Saturday afternoons at 2:30pm on Gospel Highway, WNAP 1110 AM.

Pastor Quann is an anointed and humble servant of God who demonstrates by example his spiritual growth in his personal walk with God and his fervent desire to win souls for Christ. Pastor Quann preaches extensively across the country and on the continent of Africa in Kenya. He writes a monthly article for The Philadelphia Tribune, the oldest African American Newspaper in the nation. Pastor Quann host a daily early Morning Prayer service, “Church Without Walls” with over 100 persons from around the country. He also authors a daily devotional which is published quarterly and distributed to many persons and organizations.

Pastor and Mrs. Tanya Quann are the proud parents of four sons, Darrell, Todd, Marc, and Branden. They are also proud grandparents.
