Healthy Food Banquet

The Wissahickon High School Health Careers Club hosted its 3rd annual Healthy Food Banquet on Thursday, April 28, 2011. Over 70 students attended the banquet, which featured a healthy stir-fry entrée provided by Chartwells’ Dining Services and samples of healthy appetizers and desserts provided by the Health Career Club student members.
The Health Promotion Council’s WISE SNAC initiative provides technical assistance to the Health Career’s Club to organize the event. Funding for the Healthy Food Banquet is made possible through the North Penn Community Health Foundation’s health education mini-grant program.
