Foundation celebrates 10 years

On June 28, current and former board members, staff and volunteers gathered to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the foundation.

The foundation was created in 2002 from the sale of the North Penn Hospital to Universal Health Services. Both parties agreed to preserve the hospital's charitable assets, accumulated over four decades, and established the foundation's endowment.

Today, the foundation continues to address the health and human services needs of the North Penn community by investing in skillfully managed, impactful organizations, and by supporting innovative collaborations and partnerships.

The celebration included special guests Joanne Kline, Executive Director of the Montgomery County Office of Aging and Adult Services, and Lou Beccaria, President and CEO at the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation.
