Dual Eligible Initiative Launched

In 2013, a workgroup of knowledgeable stakeholders met and, with support from NPCHF, produced a report with recommendations to improve the system of care for the dual eligible elderly population. Following the report’s release in November 2014, the foundation opened a grant opportunity for organizations wishing to work on some of the recommendations. The initiative is intended to prepare organizations for the likelihood that Pennsylvania will soon institute managed long term supports and services.
