Cultivating Communities Campaign Launched

To enhance year-round access to fresh locally grown food to low-income individuals and families, the Cultivating Communities Campaign brought together community partners including the Montgomery County Health Department, The Food Trust, Pennsylvania State University Cooperative Extension of Montgomery County and The Health Promotion Council’s WISE SNAC Initiative. The goal of this initiative was to develop 24 community gardens over the next three to five years.
